This is a mashup I did of the Thom Hartmann Show (07.01.11) and in the background are videos of the weather in Minnesota on July 1, 2011, as uploaded by various Youtubers - search term simply "Minnesota".

Massive weather attack campaign going on there right now, coincidentally? idk. Just an observation. Minnesota seems like a perfectly obscure, docile state to test run this crap in. (mini-rant @ the bottom)

"Here's what's open, and what's not, with the Minnesota shutdown:

What's open, what's not

Courts and prisons: Will operate as usual.
Health programs: The Minnesota Department of Health to continue investigating disease outbreaks complaints in health-care facilities, sampling public water supply systems and screening newborns for hearing and genetic disorders. Regular annual inspections of health-care facilities will stop.
Iron Range Resources and Rehabilitation Board facilities: Giants Ridge golf course and all associated events and facilities closed. Minnesota Discovery Center in Chisholm open.
Lake Superior Beach Monitoring Program, run by the Minnesota Department of Health: Shut down.
Lake Superior Zoo: The city-run zoo is open.
Licenses, passports: Drivers license renewals, motor vehicle licenses, passports all still available through county deputy registrar's offices, including the St. Louis County license center at the Miller Hill Mall. Drivers tests not available. Marriage licenses and birth and death certificates available through counties.
McQuade Small Craft Harbor: Launch ramps and docks open. Restrooms closed.
Minnesota State Lottery: Shut down.
National Guard: Nearly all Minnesota National Guard functions will operate.

Public assistance: Temporary assistance to needy families, Medical Assistance, MinnesotaCare, welfare benefits continue. Assistance for child care stops.
Real estate records: Transactions available at county recorders' offices.
Recreational licenses: Fishing, hunting, boat, ATV licenses not available. Most of Department of Natural Resources has shut down.
Road work: City and county projects will continue. State projects, including Interstate 35 reconstruction in Duluth and Highway 61 project near Split Rock on the North Shore have shut down.
State parks, state forest campgrounds and state rest areas: All closed.
State Patrol: Public safety role unaffected. Officers still watching for speeders.

Schools: K-12 school, colleges and universities unaffected by the shutdown, for now.
Veterans: The Minnesota Department of Veterans Affairs will keep veterans homes open, including Silver Bay, along with critical assistance programs and the state Veterans Cemetery in Little Falls. Tuition reimbursement claims will be scaled back and state veterans outreach offices will close. State's veterans hotline will remain open."

Not fair. Our own government f*cks up with OUR MONEY and then punishes us by shutting down services WE PAY FOR with TAXES that THEY BLEW?!!? Obama is the Anti-Christ, make no mistake about that..
